Day 23 | Momentum is Building


I feel that I’ve reached the point where my body is starting to let go of some of the weight.  I’m right on track for where I’m supposed to be and I couldn’t be happier.    I had thought it was going too slowly but I think I was just being impatient.  I checked today and I’m right where I should be.  I’ve lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks which is 2 pounds a week. Two pounds a week is perfect.  It’s healthy, sustainable and will get me to my goal by the time I turn 40.  So, it’s working!

I ran two miles today.   I put the treadmill on an incline for some of the time, just to make it a bit harder.  I didn’t have time to run farther, so I figured I’d make it more difficult.   It worked.  Running uphill is hard.  I was exhausted this afternoon.  But in a good way.
