Quick post today. I’m in a wedding this weekend so my time is not my own right now. I did get a call from my doctor this evening and my HCG level went up again this week. Not by a lot, but it is up to 12,900. My doctor gave me all the options but the one we decided on was “let’s wait and see what happens”. His very sage advice was to be ready this time, because anything can happen. Yep, will do.

Tomorrow is the rehearsal (and dinner) and the wedding is Saturday. My husband is running on a relay team on Sunday for the Maine Marathon, and someone from his team might need to drop out. I may be on the hook to run 5 or 6 miles on Sunday. After a late night at an open bar wedding of my best friends. Awesome.

We moved our half-marathon goal race to a few weeks ago because of this wedding. I didn’t want to have to worry about running the next day during the wedding reception. I wanted to relax, eat and drink without thinking about it. I did not want to worry about running the next morning.

I’m not going to think about it. If I am a back up on this relay team, then they are going to get what they get (not setting a PR this time). I’m slow on a fast day, so I hope they will be grateful that I’m running and that they won’t care that I’m hungover.
