My doctor has ordered me to “take it easy” due to my excessive bleeding.
Crap.
I really wanted to do 25 miles this week. I had it all planned out.
Monday: 6 miles (done!)
Tuesday: quick 5K at lunch (nope…)
Wednesday: GRUNT class at the YMCA (circuit training, squats, sprints, etc) (nope…)
Thursday: rest
Friday: 10 miles (not gonna happen….)
Saturday: rest
Sunday: 6 miles (maybe I can do this one?)
It would have been so great.
I am still dreaming about doing a long run on Friday. I love my Friday afternoon long runs. I dream about them all week. But I don’t think I’m going to be able to run this week. I might, if I’m lucky, get in a 10K on Sunday. But I think that’s only if things settle down and the doctor gives me the all cclear.
At this point, on Wednesday evening, it’s not looking good.
So I wait. I really hope this whole failed pregnancy thing is behind me soon. I have signed up to run another half-marathon in 3 and a half weeks, and I really hope I can run that race un-pregnant.
