I went for a quick run after work. I didn’t want too much time to go by since my crappy run on Saturday. I wanted to get that good feeling back. I did a 5k around Back Cove. It was such a beautiful night, I couldn’t resist. It was about 50 degrees with a moderate wind of about 10 mph.
I ran a 37 minute 5k, which although it wasn’t particularly fast, it was consistent. I ran 12 minute miles, and didn’t vary my speed or walk at all. The time went by fast and the run felt really good.
I consider it a win, especially after my last run, which was such a battle to get through. Sometimes it’s good to take a moment to appreciate the small victories.
Small victory
